Trevor Bauer is a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball in the United States. He has previously played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cleveland Indians, and Cincinnati Reds.

Bauer has loved throwing since he was a kid, and outside of his private instruction, he would often practice alone.

On July 2, 2021, the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher was placed on administrative leave after being accused of sexual assault.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office declined to press charges against the pitcher in February 2022, but MLB punished him for violating the MLB Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse Policy.

Bauer is appealing the two-year punishment, writing on Twitter, “I categorically deny any breach of the league’s domestic violence and sexual assault rules.” This action is being appealed, and I am confident that I will prevail.”

Throughout this process, my representatives and I have kept the proceedings discreet.
