Davidson grew up in New York City and began his acting career in the early 2010s with modest appearances on;

  1. Brooklyn Nine-Nine,
  2. Friends of the People, and
  3. Guy Code.

Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York firefighter who died in the World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks in 2001, is also known as Davidson.

In 2014, Davidson joined the cast of NBC’s late-night sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live (SNL) and left in 2022.

When Davidson initially joined “Saturday Night Live” in 2014, he was just 20 years old, making him one of the show’s youngest cast members ever.

Though the reason for Davidson’s departure from SNL is unknown, it appears that he wants to pursue other opportunities.

According to CBS News, Davidson will continue to executive produce and act in “Bupkis,” a new Peacock online sitcom.

The program, according to a representative for the streaming service, is “a heightened, dramatized version of Pete Davidson’s real life” that combines “grounded storytelling with ludicrous aspects from Pete’s uncensored and entirely original viewpoint.”

We’ll see what the future holds for Davidson as the days pass. Why did Pete Davidson leave Saturday Night Live
