Who Was Stéphane Audran; Stéphane Audran, a French actress, was Jean Trintignant’s first wife, but their marriage ended in divorce.

Audra later married Claude Chebrol, a director and screenwriter, and they have a son, Thomas, who is also a movie producer.

Audran is noted for his roles in films such as The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972), Babette’s Feast (1987), The Big Red One (1980), and Violette Nozière (1978).

Audran’s father died while she was a child.

Her big break came when she starred in Chabrol’s film Les Cousins (1959).

After that, she starred in films such as Les Bonnes Femmes (1960), La Femme Infidèle (1968), Les Biches (1968), Le Boucher (1970), Juste Avant La Nuit (1971), and Violette Nozière (1978).

During her lifetime, she received numerous prizes, including the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, a French César Award, and a British Film Academy Award.

Audran died on March 27, 2018, after a long period of illness. Her son Thomas discovered her dead at home, only a few days after she was released from the hospital
