Was Ryan Upchurch in the military: Ryan Edward Upchurch, better known by his stage name Upchurch or just by his first and last names Ryan Upchurch, is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and comedian from Cheatham County, Tennessee.

Upchurch had never served in the military.

However, he has a military ancestor: Army Spc. Clinton R. Upchurch, who died on January 7, 2006 while serving in Iraqi Freedom.
