Virginia Federal Prison Escape: On Saturday, June 18, 2022, four inmates escaped from a federal prison camp near Hopewell, Virginia.

According to a press statement from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, this is a “prison break” (BOP).
Inmates Corey Branch, Tavares Lajuane Graham, Lamonte Rashawn Willis, and Kareem Allen Shaw were reported missing from the Federal Correctional Complex Petersburg’s satellite camp at roughly 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
Corey Branch was serving a 160-month sentence for felon in possession of a handgun and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Tavares Lajuane Graham was serving a 120-month sentence for possessing 500 grams or more of cocaine and 28 grams or more of cocaine base, as well as possessing a weapon in furtherance of a drug trafficking felony.
Kareem Allen Shaw was serving a 194-month sentence for conspiring to possess a detectable quantity of heroin with the intent to distribute it.
The news announcement contains no information about the ‘jail beak.’ The BOP, on the other hand, called the escape a “walkaway.”
The US Marshals Service, FBI, and other law enforcement agencies are also assisting in the search for the four individuals, according to the BOP. Virginia Federal Prison Escape
