Violinist Saul Höuben is the late child actress June Preston’s husband, whom she met on a music tour.
Höuben is a concert violinist who hails from Belgium. In 1963, he married Preston and they have a daughter, Sabrina Pires.

Preston went on to Seattle University to study music, and during that time he featured in a variety of shows, including Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore.
She sang soprano solo in the university’s 1949 rendition of Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem, and afterwards became a cover performer for Kate Smith patriotic songs.
Preston performed as a singer throughout the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
Preston died on May 11, 2022, in Montclair, New Jersey, following a struggle with dementia. She was 93 years old.
