On Thursday, April 28, a video of scared travelers scattering at Ben Gurion Airport’s departure hall near Tel Aviv went viral on social media.

A man was taken to the hospital after attempting to flee over a baggage carousel, according to the Israel Airports Authority.

According to the Jewish Press, one of the youngsters uncovered and took a bombshell during the family’s excursion to the Golan Heights, which they meant to take home as a souvenir. Security demanded that the area be evacuated when it was detected at the airport’s luggage check-in.

The family was allowed to board their aircraft after security agents interrogated them and gave them the all-clear, according to the airport administration.

Israel, which has stringent aviation security, battled with Syria over the Golan Heights during the 1967 and 1973 conflicts. Unexploded Shell Ben Gurion Airport
