Travis Barker Plane Accident: Travis Barker was on a plane that crashed in 2008 after a faulty takeoff, killing everyone on board save two people and leaving him with 65 percent burns.
Travis was one of six passengers on a Learjet en route to Los Angeles from Columbia, South Carolina, on September 19, 2008, with close friend and musical partner Adam Goldstein.

The private jet’s departure was canceled because its tyres blew out due to low pressure, causing it to veer off the runway, over a fence, and into an embankment, where it exploded.
Travis and Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein managed to flee the fire, but Travis was covered in aviation fuel, which caught fire as he attempted to flee.
“When the plane blew up, I was in such a hurry to get out of the plane that I leapt directly into the jet, which was still full of fuel,” Travis said in a 2019 interview.
“It seemed as if my entire body was lighting up.” Jet fuel had soaked my entire body. Travis was in the hospital for 11 weeks after the accident, enduring 27 procedures and skin grafts. Travis Barker Plane Accident
