Ruby Jean Seals Biography: Jim Seals of the 1970s soft rock combo Seals & Crofts died on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the age of 80. Ruby Jean Seals was his wife.

Ruby Jean Anderson was the mother of Ruby Jean Seals.

Ruby and Jim Seals married in 1970, and their three children are all musicians: Joshua, Juliette, and Sutherland.

Jim Seals’ wife prefers to remain anonymous, therefore little is known about her.

Jim, on the other hand, was born in 1941 in Sidney, Texas, and was a one-time member of The Champs, joining after their song ‘Tequila,’ which also included Glen Campbell.

Jim toured with Eddie Cochran before forming Glen Campbell and the GCs, which included both Seals and Crofts.

Their debut album with their new label did not chart, but their second, Summer Breeze, did, peaking at #7 in 1972. It went on to sell over a million copies.

With their second album, ‘Summer Breeze,’ Seals & Crofts made their breakthrough. In 1972, the title tune, “Summer Breeze,” hit number 6 in the United States and number 16 in Australia.

Despite the fact that the duo dissolved in 1980, they reformed in 1991–1992, and again in 2004, when they recorded their final album, Traces.
