Naomi Judd was born in Ashland, Kentucky, to parents Pauline Ruth ‘Polly’ Oliver Judd and Charles Glen Judd on January 11, 1946. Her father was the proprietor of a petrol station.

Naomi Judd and her daughter have a total of twenty top-10 hits (with fifteen at number one) and have won all three major country music awards ceremonies for the past eight years. After being diagnosed with Hepatitis C, Naomi Judd’s time with the Judds came to an abrupt end.
