Larry Lacewell Wife: Larry Lacewell was a collegiate football coach, scout, and administrator in the United States. From 1979 through 1989, he was the head football coach at Arkansas State University, where he had a 69–58–4 record.

Arkansas A&M College offered him a football scholarship, which he accepted. He was chosen second-team All-AIC at running back as a junior. In the year 2003, he was honored into the University of Arkansas at Monticello Sports Hall of Fame.



He guided the Indians to 69 victories, two Southland Conference championships, and four consecutive participation in the 1-AA Playoffs. Arkansas State advanced to the 1-AA National Championship Game in 1986. Lacewell coached five first-team All-Americans and 24 All-SLC players.

Lacewell began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Alabama under Bear Bryant.
