Kenneth Welsh Cause Of Death: Kenneth Welsh was a film and television actor from Canada.

Welsh is most known for his role as Windom Earle in Twin Peaks and as the father of Katharine Hepburn in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator, which Cate Blanchett played.

Thomas E. Dewey, Colin Thatcher, Harry S. Truman (twice), Thomas Edison, James “Scotty” Reston, General Harry Crerar, and James Baker are among the historical characters Welsh has played.

Welsh was nominated for two Genie Awards for Best Actor, for his depiction as Reno Colt in the film Reno and the Doc in 1985 and for his role as David Sutton in Loyalties in 1987.

Welsh was also a two-time Genie Award winner for Best Supporting Actor, nominated for Tell Me That You Love Me at the 5th Genie Awards in 1984 and winning for Margaret’s Museum at the 16th Genie Awards in 1996.



Kenneth Welsh died on Thursday, May 5, 2022, according to his son Devon Welsh, a singer and former member of Majical Cloudz.

Via May 7, 2022, Devon Welsh announced his father’s death on social media via a tweet;

“My father died quietly at home on Thursday.”

“I’ll always love him unconditionally.” He lived a magnificent life, was the best father I could have wished for, and touched the lives of so many others.”

Kenneth Welsh died peacefully at the age of 80, according to his son Devon.
