Recall that on Thursday, July 28, Okereke and Clemson—both members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN)—were kidnapped while they were leaving a filming location in Ozalla Town, Enugu State.

Emeka Rollas, the national president of the AGN, provided this update while chatting with Premium Times.

The kidnappers have gotten in touch with the family and are requesting $100,000 in payment. We ask God to intervene and to create turmoil among them in their midst.

We collaborate closely with the various security personnel as well, but we are unsure what to anticipate from them given that the same thing is occurring across the nation.

When providing an update on the situation on Friday, Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, also revealed that all the funds in Cynthia Okereke’s account had been cleared.
