The gray Hyundai Sonata’s driver was making a delivery for Door Dash on Wednesday evening (May 4).

The driver informed detectives that he knew he needed to make a left turn onto Wolf Street while heading south on Harry Hines Boulevard.



The motorist slowed to practically a halt at the intersection, then made an unlawful turn from the far right lane, directly into the path of Jerry Jones’ automobile.

When the black Lexus collided with the gray Hyundai’s driver’s side door, Jerry Jones was not driving, and “35 mph was the posted speed limit in that block of Harry Hines Boulevard.”
