A Connecticut teenager was arrested in connection with James’ horrible murder on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Shelton police identified the juvenile as a 16-year-old Milford resident who was arrested early Wednesday on murder and three counts of first-degree assault.

Following James’ terrible death, a walk-through visitation will be held at the Egan Chapel of Saint Ignatius of Loyola at Fairfield University, 1073 North Benson Rd., Fairfield, on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4-7 p.m.

On Friday, May 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull.

Margaret and Kevin McGrath welcomed James into the world on December 18, 2004.

James had a positive outlook, was compassionate, and genuinely cared about others.

He was characterized by many as a nice, happy person with a big heart.

James adored his school, Fairfield Prep, and he excelled in every sport he participated in.
