Is the USFL new: The USFL, which will debut in 2022, is the most recent spring start-up league.

The eight teams in the USFL will compete in a 10-week regular season and a two-week postseason to crown a champion.

The USFL used to exist, but it went out of business in 1985 and is making a comeback in 2022.

Despite the fact that the new USFL is unrelated to the previous USFL, the purpose is substantially the same.

The USFL plans to fill the hole created by the absence of NFL action over the offseason by hosting live football games.

Who owns the USFL Football league?

Along with NBC’s family of networks, Fox Sports owns a minority ownership in the news USFL and will broadcast all of the league’s games (NBC, USA and Peacock).
