Why is Jamie Vardy not playing for Leicester City?

Jamie Vardy had been absent for the majority of the 2022 calendar year, and on Thursday night (April 28, 2022), he made his second start of the year, playing an hour in a 1-1 draw with Roma.

Vardy has been out for the better part of four months with hamstring and knee problems, but Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has stated that it is not simply a case of him regaining his fitness.

Vardy’s fitness will be examined ahead of the weekend’s match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Vardy, on the other hand, may not play at all in order to save his energy for the second leg of the semi-final in Italy.
