Canelo Alvarez is the current undisputed super middleweight champion, having defeated Caleb Plant in an 11th-round TKO in November to unify the class.

Bivol is 19-0 and has held the WBA title in some form since 2016, when he defeated Umar Salamov in a unanimous decision last December.

Canelo will earn a guaranteed $15 million for the fight and will collect 70% of PPV sales, according to Total Sportal. Bivol, on the other hand, has a $2 million guarantee and will collect up to 30% of PPV purchases.
