Jessica Simpson shed 100 pounds after the birth of her third child. Simpson revealed on a recent episode of “The Real” that she took three years to lose weight this time.

Simpson claimed to eat three protein-rich meals and two snacks every day, including almonds. She would have multiple cheat meals throughout the week instead of cheat days, so she didn’t feel deprived of her favorite foods.

Jessica also said that she started with a tiny daily goal of 6,000 steps and steadily upped her step count until she could accomplish 12,000 steps in a single day. On occasion, she reached as high as 14,000 feet.
