Glen Trotiner Obituary: Glen Trotiner was an assistant director who contributed to over 100 full-length movies. Along with Mozart in the Jungle, ER, and hundreds of other projects, he worked on films including Captain America: The First Avenger, Independence Day, and The Untouchables.

On June 16, 2022, in New York, Glen passed away at the age of 65; no other details concerning his passing have been made public. His sister and niece are still alive.

Glen has worked as an assistant director, co-producer, or co-writer on more than 100 movies and television shows throughout the course of his four-decade career, most recently on the shows Morbius and Gotham. Glen graduated from the Directors Guild of America Training Program.

Along with acting in movies like Big Daddy, Jungle 2 Jungle, Freejack, and others, he served as a co-producer on many of those projects.

The longest serving board member, Trotiner served on the Board of Trustees of the Directors Guild of America Training Program for more than 25 years. He also gave lectures at his alma institution, SUNY Albany.
