George Carlin Cause Of Death: George Carlin, an American stand-up comedian and actor, died of heart failure in a Los Angeles hospital in June 2008. He was 71 years old.

Carlin has suffered from cardiac difficulties for three decades. Heart attacks occurred in 1978, 1982, and 1991, as well as an arrhythmia that necessitated an ablation operation in 2003, a substantial bout of heart failure in late 2005, and two angioplasties.

His body was cremated, and his ashes were strewn in front of several nightclubs where he had performed in New York City, as well as over Spofford Lake in New Hampshire, where he had cherished recollections of attending summer camp as a child.

Carlin has been named “the dean of counterculture comedians” as one of the most prominent and influential stand-up comedians of all time.

His dark comedy and comments on politics, the English language, psychology, religion, and forbidden themes made him famous.

His “seven nasty words” routine was at the heart of the 1978 Supreme Court case F.C.C. v. Pacifica Foundation, in which the government’s ability to prohibit indecent content on the public airways was upheld by a 5–4 ruling. George Carlin Cause Of Death
