DeAndre Hopkins Suspended

DeAndre Hopkins Suspended: DeAndre Hopkins, a wide receiver with the Arizona Cardinals, has been suspended for six games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substance policy.

DeAndre Hopkins’ suspension was announced on Monday, May 2, 2022, and it was also stated that the suspension would take effect at the start of the next regular season in September 2022, making him eligible to participate in the preseason.

DeAndre Hopkins tested positive for a forbidden drug, and it was discovered that he tried to dilute the illegal substance in order to tamper with the test results.

DeAndre Hopkins first filed an appeal on the matter, but it is said that he has since removed it in order for the decision to be made.

DeAndre Hopkins has been a member of the Arizona Cardinals since 2020, and prior to that, he was a member of the Houston Texans from 2013 to 2019.

DeAndre Hopkins is a five-time Pro Bowl selection, a three-time First-Team All-Pro selection, and the all-time leader in receiving touchdowns in the NFL.
