Craig Farrell Cause Of Death: Craig Farrell, an English professional footballer who most recently played as a forward for Whitby Town in the Northern Premier League, died on Monday, May 30, 2022.

Farrell died at the age of 39, and condolences have poured in for the former England youth star since his death was announced on Monday evening.

What caused Craig Farrell’s death? The cause of Farrell’s death has not been revealed.

Farrell was born in Middlesbrough and began his career with Teesside before joining Leeds United in 1998.

Farrell, on the other hand, never played for either side, but he did score 71 goals in 325 appearances for clubs such as Carlisle and York. Craig Farrell Cause Of Death

Farrell also played for Exeter City and Rushden & Diamonds throughout his career.



Farrell also represented England at the Under-16 level, earning three caps and scoring once at the 1999 Euro U16s competition.

York City, Farrell’s former squad, led the tributes, tweeting:

“We are heartbroken to learn of the demise of Craig Farrell, a former player, at the age of 39.”

“From 2006 through 2009, Craig made 111 appearances for City, scoring 27 goals.”

“At this difficult time, our thoughts are with his family and friends.”

Farrell last appeared for Blyth’s divisional rivals Whitby Town, making his debut in a 3–1 loss against Ashton United at the Turnbull Ground.

He did, however, retire in February 2015 due to a significant hip injury.
