Western Australia Police confirmed that mum Ellie Smith and stepdad Jake Gliddon had been cleared as suspects, yet the couple has still been the subject of horrific accusations and theories online.

Thankfully, She was found alive after the man’s home was searched intensively by police on 3 November. Cleo received widespread news coverage and social media reaction across Australia after her massive recovery after 18 days.

Police pressed charges at the 36-year-old Carnarvon resident Terence Darrell Kelly with offenses including one count of forcibly taking a child under 16 On 4 November 2021.

The suspect appeared before the Carnarvon Magistrate’s Court. Surprisingly, he did not apply for bail. The case has been adjourned to 6 December 2021.
