What Happened To Caleb Swanigan?
On June 21, 2022, Caleb passed away naturally.
He was a member of the Big Ten Player of the Year and first team All-Big Ten Honors while playing for Purdue in 2016 and 2017.
The Portland Trail Blazers selected Caleb in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft.
He has only played in three NBA seasons.

Caleb Swanigan Early Life
Caleb used to live in shelters as a homeless child. Before turning 13, he had gone to 13 different schools.
Roosevelt Barnes, an AAU coach, later adopted him and supported him all the way through high school at Fort Wayne, Indiana’s Homestead High.

He won a state championship while playing in high school, earning the distinction of McDonald’s All-American.
He graduated from Purdue after his sophomore year with single-season records for both rebounds and double-doubles.
