Is BJ Penn Dead?

BJ Penn is not dead. However, the martial artist recounted some of his near-death experiences on Instagram from last year.

The former UFC champion shared a story on Instagram in which he recounted nearly dying after being sucked into the engine room in a wave pool at a water park.

In the post, BJ Penn said that Last year when he got sucked into a wave pool engine room and thought he was going to die… he kept thinking, “don’t die for your kids”. 

BJ Penn was surfing for about an hour, and the line started getting longer to catch the wave. BJ Penn remembers feeling like he was getting sucked in a pipe, and at that moment, he got scared.

It ended up pushing Penn into a big cement room that filled up with water.

According to the post, it felt like he was in the movie SAW or Final destination.

Nevertheless, the former UFC star is enjoying his time on the beautiful Island of Hawaii with his family and kids.
